Slowly lift your knee and start bending it towards your chest. Now lift your another knee and also bend it towards your chest. Now, hold both the knees with your hands. Now check whether you can meet your knees to your nose or not. Also, try to touch the knee with your stomach. It needs lot of flexibility to perform this type of yogic exercise. Try to make both the knees closer while you practice it. While performing this yoga, you will need to breathe only once at a time and hold this positions for 30 seconds and then release it slowly and steadily. In this yoga, it is not necessary that you should perform by using both legs. You can use only one leg at one time and then the other leg at the second round. In next type of yoga, you need to lie down on the towel or mat. You will have to sleep on your stomach while performing this yoga. Now, place both your hands at the bottom of the spine on the backside of your body. Keep the hands behind and do not use them while you are performing this yoga exercise. Now, raise your upper torso which is the central part of the human body like the back, chest, and abdomen. Do not raise your limbs, head and neck while raising your upper body part. Hold this position till your head is upright. It is suggested to hold the neck for 30 seconds. In this yoga, back muscles are used for performing this yoga type. Although back muscles are stressed and used for this yoga, it helps in burning and reducing belly fat. Asana and yoga are the best and natural ways to fight belly fat or to reduce weight. Half plough pose (ardha halasan), half moon pose (ardha chandrsana), wheel pose (chakrasana), cobra pose (bhujangasan), prone cycling (dwichkrikasan), boat pose (navasana), wind release pose (pavanamuktasan), sun salutation (surya namsakar) are some of the yogic exercises to prevent belly fat.
