When selecting a low calorie or low fat diet, make sure you are consuming a balanced and a complete diet. Your task is to set sensible and possible low calorie diet. The healthiest type of low fat diet is a balanced diet which includes foods that have no or less fats, such as butter, margarine, mayonnaise, sour cream and salad dressings. The diet must be low in fat, mainly saturated fat. The best way to lose weight is to switch on fad diets. Start your low fat diet by following the simple guidelines below.

  1. Consume at least 3 - 4 small meals and nutritious snacks every day.
  2. Maintain a simple diet. Don't get too caught up on the particulars or your diet. Start your low fat diet by simply counting calories.
  3. Consume your food gradually.
  4. Eat healthy food like fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, and beans, low-fat or no fat dairy products, low fat meats, fish and skinless poultry.
  5. Avoid food stuffs that have a high calorie quotient such as pastries, candy bars, pies, cookies, etc .
  6. Include a variety of fruits and vegetables in your low fat diet. Start your diet by trying to eat five total vegetable and fruit every single day.
  7. Replace your high fat foods such as cheese, red meat and snacks and fried foods into a low fat diet.
  8. Cut down the amount of foods are high in fat. Use bigger quantities of low-fat foods with them.
  9. Prepare ice creams and cheese cakes from fat free or low fat creams.
  10. You should eat breakfast as soon as possible when you wake up as this will speed up your metabolism. If you will not eat breakfast your metabolism will slow even more as your body responds to the hunger.
  11. Start eating at least two hours before you go to bed as this will allow your food to digest properly and help your body to rest properly.

Not all low fat foods are low in calories. So, switch to fad diets! Pasta and bread are both quite low in fat however they can heap on the calorie if eaten to excess. What you eat and the way you eat should be concerned if you want to have a flat stomach. When and how often you eat is also important and decides whether your body stores fat or burns it even when you rest.
