  1. The V exercise: Sit straight on floor, bent your knees comfortably towards you and sit in a ‘yogasana’ position. Then slowly straight your legs one by one and divert them opposite to each other (approximately in a 45 degree position). Keep your back straight, do not bend. Then steadily do the same with your arms, starting by lifting your arms and bring it to the same position. Your body should form the letter ‘V’. This exercise strengthens your arms, back and legs putting pressure on your abdomen or stomach muscles.
  2. The side turn exercise: Lay down on one of your body side keeping one foot at the top of another. By keeping a support on your elbows, lift your legs until your hips are off the floor. Place the bottom hand on your head to bend it towards the waist. Keep your toes straight, feel the pressure on your side abdomen. Do the same on another side of your body. This will reduce side belly fat, giving you nice curves on your waist, especially suggested for women.
  3. Breathing exercise: Sit in a simple yogasana position. Back straight, bend your legs towards you and fold them, back and hands straight touching your knees. Close your eyes and breathe in and breathe out. It relaxes your mind, body and soul.
  4. Other exercises: Another very efficient exercise used as an abs yoga workout is, Stand straight in an attention position. Slowly and steadily lift both of your arms straight and try and touch your feet. Do not bend your knees. A difficult one for beginners but, a great exercise to reduce belly fat.
